How To Link Aadhaar card with pan card

Now a day the if you want to file the income tax returns than you need to connect your Aadhaar card with the Pan card. Nowadays it's very easy to link Aadhaar to your pan Card, there are two ways to link your Aadhaarnumber to your pan card.

The Income Tax Department has again extended the deadline for linking PAN with Aadhaar to March 31, 2020. The previous deadline was December 31, 2019.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes had declared that all Indian citizens must link their PAN and Aadhaar cards before the said deadline. People who fail to do so won't be able to file their income tax and their PAN will no longer be operative.

You can check PAN-Aadhaar linking status on the Income Tax India website. Click on ‘Link Aadhaar’ and then, click on ‘Click here’, which is above the section where you fill your PAN and Aadhaar details. The new webpage will ask you for your PAN and Aadhaar number. Fill in the details and click on ‘View Link Aadhaar status’. If your PAN-Aadhaar is linked, the screen should show a confirmation message with the last four digits of your Aadhaar number.

Link Aadhaar to Pan Card Via SMS

Linking your Aadhaar to your Pan Card insure that both the document register with the same name an also both link with the same mobile number.

If the requirements are in check,

open the messaging app and type UIDAI space 12-digit Aadhaar card number space 10-character alphanumeric PAN details and send it to 567678 or 56161. For Example, if your Aadhar number is 109875483250, and your PAN is ADRD1252E, then send type UIDAI space 109876543210 ABCD1234E and send it to 567678 or 56161.

after sending the SMS you will get the notification that your Aadhaar card linked successfully with your Pan card.

The other way to link Aadhaar to pan via Income Tax Website.

To link your Aadhaar to your pan online it's very easy first you have to visit the Income Tax Website and link your Aadhaar manually.

1. Go to IT website incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
2. After that Click you your left side Link Aadhaar 
3. Fill the form with the Required Details Like your Aadhaar Number, Pan number and the name mention you Aadhaar and Pan be insure both are same.
4. After that, you need to fill in the captcha code or request for an OTP with the registered mobile number, following which, if the details match, your PAN-Aadhaar linking will be successful.
